BIGC Bursary Policy
The Bowen Island Gymnastics Club (BIGC) recognizes that the cost of club membership is sometimes too high for gymnasts and their families. We want to promote access for all persons and abilities.
How we help
Gymnasts and families in these situations are encouraged to reach out and tell BIGC. We commit to working with each family to find alternative funding that fits their situation.
BIGC will share local, provincial, and federal funding resources designed to help. Families can then contact those organizations directly. If requested, BIGC can also help review applications before they are submitted.
If adequate funding cannot be secured through those resources, BIGC will discuss the situation case by case to find an agreeable solution, in the spirit of keeping programs open to all.

KidSport Canada
Cost keeps about 1 in 2 Canadian kids out of organized sport. KidSport provides grants to help cover registration fees so more kids can play, not watch from the sidelines.
