Cancellation & Late Fees Policy
Clear guidelines for cancellations, credits, camp fees, late payments, and unexpected class closures.
Standard classes & programs
Written cancellation requests by email are credited as follows:
- Before the session begins · full credit
- Before the 3rd week of the session · 75% credit
- Injury (physician’s note) or relocation off Bowen Island · prorated credit
- On the 3rd week or later · no credit
Camps
Camp fees are non-refundable. Full payment is due at registration. Spots are not held without full payment.
Late fees
Fees received more than 30 days after the due date: $25 late fee. NSF and declined payments: $25 fee.
Unexpected closures
If public schools (gymnasium) close for weather, or BIGC cannot provide a safe environment due to coach illness, classes for those day(s) are cancelled.
BIGC will either provide a makeup class at no extra charge, or pro-rate the lost day’s fees to affected members. BIGC also reserves the right to adjust program times, dates, and instructors, and to cancel any program without notice.
